Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Stored XSS in Andrew Norcross WP Hello Bar 1.02 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via digit parameters. The plugin stores the digit_one and digit_two settings without sufficient sanitization and later inserts them into page output without sufficient escaping. Administrator-level access is required; the stored scripts execute when visitors load an affected page, allowing code to run in each visitor's browser.
