Authenticated SQL injection via direct emp_id query
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
SQL injection in home_employee.php in CodeAstro Payroll System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries via emp_id. The endpoint uses the GET emp_id value directly in an SQL query without appropriate cleaning or validation, enabling boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads. Low-privileged application access is required; successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads and writes through the application's database connection.
