Unauthenticated command execution via unescaped commit ID
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
OS command injection in PHP Censor 2.1.0 through 2.1.6 allows remote attackers to execute commands through the webhook endpoint. GitBuild::postCloneSetup passes the webhook-supplied commitId to git checkout and two git log shell commands without escapeshellarg. Exploitation requires a configured Git project and a valid project ID; commands run with the PHP Censor worker's privileges.
