Unauthenticated record deletion through unchecked delete endpoint
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Improper authorization in a4m4 Student Management System allows remote attackers to delete student records through deleteform.php. At commit f0c5f6842c5e8c431ff02b5260a565ca844df3a0, the script reads sid from an HTTP request and interpolates it into a DELETE query without starting or validating an administrator session. No authentication or user interaction is required, and enumerating identifiers can remove arbitrary student records.
