Stored script execution via unencoded company name
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. The /ShowForm/create_supplier/main handler writes company_name into the resulting page without encoding or filtering, causing supplied markup to execute. The published assessment requires low privileges and passive user interaction, so another user must view the poisoned supplier content and execution remains within that user’s browser context.
