Authenticated browser script execution via unencoded medicine name
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The /ShowForm/create_medicine_name/main handler places the medicine_name parameter directly into the generated page without encoding or filtering. The public proof of concept says no login is needed, while the CNA score requires low privileges; a victim must render the crafted response.
