Authenticated router crash via unchecked enrollee copy
Published May 31, 2026 · Updated May 31, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in TRENDnet TEW-432BRP 3.10B20 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via an HTTP request. The boa formWlanSetup handler copies the attacker-controlled enrollee parameter into a stack local without checking its length, overwriting the function return address. Administrative authentication is required; the published artifact demonstrates persistent service interruption, while code execution is asserted but not demonstrated.
