Authenticated command execution via unsanitized enrollee parameter
Published May 31, 2026 · Updated May 31, 2026
Command injection in TRENDnet TEW-432BRP 3.10B20 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands via enrollee. The boa binary’s formWlanSetup handler passes the attacker-controlled enrollee form value to the operating system without neutralizing command syntax. HTTP Basic credentials are required; injected commands run on the router, and the published proof of concept demonstrates an authenticated reboot.
