Authenticated student-record disclosure via unchecked student ID
Published May 31, 2026 · Updated May 31, 2026
Missing authorization in School Student Management System allows remote authenticated users to read other students' marks and schedules. The marks method in application/controllers/Parents.php copies the URL param1 value into student_id without verifying ownership by the logged-in parent. At the confirmed affected commit 1e70e5ad1125b86dca4ee086eb6bb121f17708b6, any parent account can enumerate sequential student IDs and retrieve other students' grades and class schedules.
