Command injection in Edimax BR-6478AC 1.23 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through a crafted rootAPmac POST parameter. The formWlbasic handler at /goform/formWlbasic passes the rootAPmac value to downstream command execution without neutralizing command elements. Low-privilege access to the network management interface is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter device data and interrupt router service.
