Authenticated code execution via unchecked webpage copy
Published May 31, 2026 · Updated May 31, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in TRENDnet TEW-432BRP 3.10B20 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted webpage value. The boa formSysLog handler copies the unbounded webpage parameter into a local stack variable, overwriting the function return address. A valid management login is required; the demonstrated request crashes the router, while return-address control enables code execution.
