Router crash via unchecked domain-filter parameter copy
Published May 30, 2026 · Updated May 30, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in TRENDnet TEW-432BRP 3.10B20 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted request. The boa formSetDomainFilter handler copies oversized domain-filter parameters into a stack local variable without validating their length, overwriting the function return address. Authenticated web access is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates persistent service interruption, while arbitrary code execution is claimed but not demonstrated.
