Core network function crash via oversized DNN list
Published May 30, 2026 · Updated May 30, 2026
Denial of service in Open5GS 2.7.0 through 2.7.7 allows remote authenticated users to crash core network functions via an NFProfile. The shared handle_smf_info parser lets a peer-supplied dnnSmfInfoList reach a fixed-array bound, then aborts on ogs_assert(). A registered or impersonatable NF with trusted SBI access can terminate the NRF or another parser consumer, interrupting that function until restart.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
