Core service crash via unchecked SCP domain array
Published May 30, 2026 · Updated May 30, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Open5GS 2.7.0 through 2.7.7 allows remote authenticated users to crash core network functions. The shared handle_scp_info parser copies every attacker-controlled scpDomainInfoList entry into a fixed scp_info.domain array and increments its index without enforcing OGS_MAX_NUM_OF_SCP_DOMAIN. SBI access with low privileges is required; an oversized NF profile corrupts memory and terminates an affected network-function process, interrupting its service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
