Stored XSS via unescaped dashboard name
Published May 30, 2026 · Updated May 30, 2026
Stored XSS in Sambit Raj Student Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted name. The dashboard PHP files echo a database-backed name directly into an HTML value attribute without entity encoding, allowing the value to terminate the attribute and inject script. Exploitation requires the ability to store a crafted user record and a subsequent dashboard view, after which the script runs in the viewer's browser.
