Workspace data exposure via stored forum JavaScript
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Stored XSS in Altium Live 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access workspace data through crafted forum posts. Forum post editing and rendering stores arbitrary JavaScript because server-side sanitization is missing, then executes it for post viewers. Exploitation requires a user to view the post and runs in the victim's authenticated Altium 365 session, exposing design files and workspace settings.
