Victim-session compromise via stored profile script injection
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Stored XSS in Altium 365 user profile fields allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts when others view a crafted profile. Server-side filtering accepts whitespace-obfuscated HTML attributes, stores the payload, and later renders it as executable markup. A standard account can plant the payload, but execution requires another user to open the profile, enabling session-token theft, phishing, or redirects.
