IP deny-rule bypass via linked hosts
Published Jan 19, 2026 · Updated Jan 19, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Devolutions Server 2025.3.1 through 2025.3.12 allows attackers to bypass virtual gateway deny IP rules. The virtual gateway fails to enforce configured deny IP rules on some linked-host requests, but Devolutions has not disclosed the exact check that fails. Exploitation requires a highly privileged account and a linked-host configuration; successful requests reach resources that the IP rule was meant to deny.
