Authenticated code execution via multimon.cgi stack overflow
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Shibby Tomato 1.28 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through multimon.cgi requests. Published analysis places the overflow in sub_90F0, but the public record does not identify the request field or unsafe copy operation that overruns the stack buffer. Low-privileged network access is required; a successful overwrite can crash the CGI process or redirect control flow on the router.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
