Authenticated code execution via unchecked WPS PIN
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in TRENDnet TEW-432BRP 3.10B20 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted WPS request. The boa formWPS handler copies the unbounded peerPin parameter into a local stack buffer, overwriting the function return address. Basic-authenticated management access is required; the demonstrated payload crashes the router and persistently interrupts service.
