Remote code execution via unsafe pickle deserialization
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Unsafe deserialization in manga-image-translator before d744148 allows remote attackers to execute code through shared API requests. The /execute/{method_name} handler passes each request body to pickle.loads(), and /simple_execute/{method_name} does the same when the nonce is disabled. Network access plus a disabled or known nonce is required; successful execution runs with server-process privileges and compromises the root-run default container.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
