Unauthenticated personal-data disclosure via SAR processing
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Authorization bypass in the SAR endpoint in legal web GmbH WP DSGVO Tools (GDPR) 3.1.39 and earlier allows remote attackers to read personal data. The subject-access-request handler accepts an arbitrary email address with process_now and is_ajax, immediately processes the SAR, and returns zip_link and pdf_link download URLs without proving ownership. No account is required because the shortcode exposes a shared nonce to every anonymous visitor; the returned archives contain account and comment data, email addresses, and IP addresses.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
