Unauthenticated data disclosure via XML external entities
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
XXE injection in IBM QRadar 7.6.0.0 through 7.6.0.1 and 7.5.0 through 7.5.0 UP 15 IF05 allows remote attackers to read data. The parseXmlPayload() function in q1labs_core.jar resolves external entities while parsing unauthenticated XML-formatted syslog events received on port 514 over UDP or TCP. Exposure requires XML Property Autodetection on a log source type, delivery to that type while its transient autodetection window remains open, and network access to the syslog intake; successful exploitation exposes data or interrupts service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
