Unauthenticated protected-post excerpt disclosure via missing password check
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Information disclosure in Brainstorm Force Spectra Legacy 2.19.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to read protected-post excerpts. The render_excerpt and uagb_get_excerpt paths render excerpt text without calling post_password_required on the source post. Any page containing a Post Grid, Post Masonry, Post Carousel, or Post Timeline block exposes excerpts without authentication, but not full protected posts.
