Stored XSS via unsanitized chart creation
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Stored XSS in EnterpriseDB Postgres Enterprise Manager before 9.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through chart creation. The Manage Charts workflow stores attacker-supplied chart content without neutralizing executable JavaScript and serves it to users who open the affected chart. By default, creating the payload requires superuser, pem_admin, or pem_super_admin access; opening the chart executes it in another user's browser.
