Command execution via shell-interpolated commit hash
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
OS command injection in Cloudflare Wrangler 2.0.15 through 3.114.16 and 4.0.0 through 4.59.0 allows attackers to execute commands. The pages deploy path interpolates the untrusted --commit-hash value into an execSync git command, allowing shell metacharacters to alter the command. Exploitation requires attacker control of that CLI argument, principally through an automated CI/CD pipeline, and grants the runner process's command privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=v2.0.15+
- Affected versionversion=v3.0.0 <=v3.114.16
- Affected versionversion=v4.0.0 <=v4.59.0
