Subscriber-level form creation via unchecked AJAX action
Published Feb 16, 2026 · Updated Feb 16, 2026
Missing authorization in Metagauss RegistrationMagic before 6.0.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to create registration forms. The rm_sort_form_fields AJAX action accepts rm_form_quick_add and form parameters from a subscriber request without the capability check required for form administration. A subscriber account is sufficient to add an attacker-chosen form to the plugin's All Forms collection, altering site registration configuration.
