Unauthenticated account access via unenforced passwords
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
Authentication bypass in Broadcom Brocade ASCG 3.4.0 allows remote attackers to access custom Application User accounts without a password. The ASCG Authentication Module does not enforce passwords for administrator-created Application User accounts, so knowledge of an assigned username grants application access. Exposure requires such an account and disclosure or discovery of its username; access permits BSL and streaming configuration changes and can disable ASCG or switch data collection.
