Authenticated router crash via unchecked GroupName copy
Published Jan 11, 2026 · Updated Jan 11, 2026
Buffer overflow in UTT 进取 520W 1.7.7-180627 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted GroupName value. The formFireWall handler passes GroupName to strcpy, copying it into the buffer at InstPointByIndex plus 32 without a length check. Low-privilege access to the management interface and a crafted POST request are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a service-interrupting crash.
