Authenticated denial of service via unchecked SSID copy
Published Jan 11, 2026 · Updated Jan 11, 2026
Buffer overflow in UTT 进取 520W 1.7.7-180627 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted SSID. The /goform/formConfigFastDirectionW handler passes the ssid value to strcpy without bounds checking when wrlessMode is 4, overflowing its destination buffer. Valid router credentials are required, and the public proof of concept demonstrates denial of service rather than code execution.
