Process-memory access via unchecked BPF scratch index

Out-of-bounds memory access in libpcap before 1.10.7 allows local users to read or overwrite process memory via crafted BPF programs. The pcapint_filter_with_aux_data() routine uses the unsigned k field from LD, LDX, ST, and STX instructions as an index into its 16-word scratch array without checking that it is below 16. Reachability requires an application to pass an externally supplied, unvalidated compiled filter to pcap_offline_filter() or bpf_filter(); exploitation reads or overwrites memory in that application's process and can crash it.
