CVE-2026-0778Known exploitation

Unauthenticated code execution via open Telnet service

Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026

Missing authentication in Enel X JuiceBox 40 4.2.7 allows remote attackers to execute code through its Telnet service. The service listens on TCP port 2000 by default and accepts remote connections without authenticating the peer before exposing command execution. Network adjacency is required, but no credentials or user interaction are needed, and commands run as the service account.
