CVE-2026-0754

Device impersonation via extractable embedded test certificate

Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in HP Poly Voice devices allow local users with administrative access to extract a reusable test certificate. Firmware before PVOS 8.5.0 on Edge E, UCS 8.1.7.c on Trio 8300, and UCS 6.4.8 on VVX embeds a test private key and certificate recoverable with specialized reverse-engineering tools. Impersonation succeeds only when a SIP service provider accepts the certificate without proper device-certificate validation.
