Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped host setting
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Stored XSS in DFieldFL WP Allowed Hosts 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the allowed-hosts parameter. The plugin stores the allowed-hosts setting without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without context-appropriate output escaping. Administrator access is required, and execution is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled when a user loads the affected page.
