Authentication bypass via ignored passkey verification result

Authentication bypass in GitLab CE/EE 18.6 through 18.6.3, 18.7 through 18.7.1, and 18.8 through 18.8.1 allows remote attackers to access accounts. The passkey and WebAuthn authentication services return false after malformed credential validation skips signature, challenge, origin, and relying-party checks, but their callers ignore that result and return authentication success. A victim credential ID suffices in the enabled passwordless passkey flow; WebAuthn two-factor bypass additionally requires the victim password, and either path grants the victim account.
