Credential disclosure via always-allowed settings endpoint
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in LottieFiles for WordPress 3.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read account credentials. The GET handler for /wp-json/lottiefiles/v1/settings/ uses an always-true permission callback and returns stored administrator configuration to unauthenticated requests. Exposure requires the account-sharing option to be enabled and reveals the API access token and email address.
