Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk 3ds Max 2026.2 and Arnold products 7.4.4.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via crafted USD files. Autodesk identifies USD loading or importing as the trigger but has not disclosed the affected parser routine or the unchecked write operation. A user must open or import an attacker-supplied file; successful exploitation runs code with the current process's privileges.
