Improper access control in TP-Link Tapo C260 v1 before 1.1.9 Build 251226 Rel.55870n allows remote authenticated users to modify settings. The synchronization endpoint accepts crafted configuration requests from guest-level accounts without enforcing the access restrictions required for protected device settings. Guest access is sufficient to alter sensitive configuration and device state, but the flaw does not provide command execution.
