CVE-2026-0651Public exploit

Sensitive-file disclosure via decoding-after-normalization path traversal

Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026

Path traversal in the Tapo C260 v1 HTTP server before 1.1.9 Build 251226 Rel.55870n allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive files. The server normalizes each GET path before fully URL-decoding it, then reuses the raw path when normalization fails, so encoded traversal sequences escape the web root. Local-network access and a guest-level session suffice for sensitive-file disclosure; unauthenticated requests expose only non-sensitive static assets.
