Contributor-level slider metadata modification via missing authorization
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Missing authorization in TechKnow Prime Responsive Accordion Slider 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify slider metadata. The resp_accordion_silder_save_images function updates titles, descriptions, alt text, and links without checking the caller's capability. Contributor-level access is sufficient to alter metadata for any slider, affecting stored website content but not confidentiality or availability.
