Integer wraparound in Silicon Labs Matter SDK 2.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to hang embedded devices via GetThreadMetrics. The GetThreadMetrics task enumeration uses an integer that wraps when the target has more than 255 concurrent tasks, leaving the command in an infinite loop. Exploitation requires a commissioned malicious device, an ACL that permits the command, and a nondefault task load; recovery requires a hard reset.
