Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Stored XSS in LogicHunt Logo Slider WP 4.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through image alt text. The logo-slider shortcode places attacker-controlled attachment alt text into rendered markup without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Author-level access is required; the stored script executes in the browser of any user who opens the affected page, enabling page-context data access or actions.
