Reflected XSS via unescaped alpha parameter
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Reflected XSS in mallsop List Site Contributors 1.1.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via the alpha parameter. The alpha query parameter reaches page output without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, causing its value to become executable markup. No authentication is required, but a victim must open a crafted link; the resulting script runs in that victim's browser context.
