Authenticated command execution via unfiltered data parameter
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Command injection in Tenda AC1206 firmware 15.03.06.23 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. The httpd formBehaviorManager handler passes the request's data parameter to doSystemCmd without filtering shell metacharacters. Low-privileged access to the web management endpoint is sufficient, and injected commands run with the httpd process's device privileges.
