Database compromise via unauthorized function module call
Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026
Code injection in SAP CRM and SAP S/4HANA Scripting Editor allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL statements. A generic function module call lacks the required authorization check and exposes critical functions that submit attacker-controlled SQL to the database. A low-privileged authenticated session is sufficient, and successful exploitation permits reading, changing, or destroying the entire database.
