CVE-2026-0428

Service interruption via malformed inter-die register copy

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

Improper input validation in the AMD TEE SOC Driver allows local users with high privileges to interrupt MI300 accelerator service. The driver accepts malformed DRV_SOC_CMD_ID_SRIOV_COPY_VF_CHIPLET_REGS parameters and writes invalid data to a remote die. Exploitation requires local high privileges and affects availability through unexpected accelerator behavior, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
