CVE-2026-0427

Cross-guest resource compromise via uncleared GPU registers

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

Incomplete cleanup in affected AMD Instinct and Radeon PRO GPUs allows admin-privileged guest OS users to access cross-guest resources. The firmware fails to clear shared register resources between guest VMs, leaving one guest's state accessible from another. An attacker needs administrative privileges in a guest VM; resulting access can compromise confidentiality, integrity, or availability across guests.
