CVE-2026-0405

Administrative access via undisclosed authentication bypass

Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026

Authentication bypass in NETGEAR Orbi firmware allows remote authenticated users on the local network to access the web interface as admin. NETGEAR identifies the affected locus only as the router web interface and has not disclosed the authentication check or input it handles incorrectly. Reachability requires local-network access, and exploitation grants administrative web-interface access with control over router operations.
