CVE-2026-0392Public exploit

Code execution via unauthenticated automatic updates

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

Improper update verification in eParakstītājs 3.0 for Windows before 1.10.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute code. The updater accepts any TLS certificate and hostname, trusts an unsigned XML descriptor, and runs an installer without checking its signature or checksum. Exploitation requires control of the network path or name resolution and normal application launch, after which supplied code runs in the application user's context.
