CVE-2026-0302

Local command execution via crafted scan input

Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

OS command injection in Palo Alto Networks Checkov 3.2.0 through 3.2.501 allows local users to execute commands via crafted scan input. Palo Alto Networks has not published the affected code locus or the operation that passes attacker-influenced scan data to an OS command. Exploitation requires a low-privileged local user to influence input consumed by a Checkov scan; successful commands run in the Checkov process context.
